Although based in South Devon my remote working arrangement allows me to cover Devon and the whole of the UK.

Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely financial transactions.

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare VAT returns in compliance with regulations.

  • Cashflow Forecasting.

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning.

  • End of Year Accounts Preparation for Sole Traders and Partnership.

Business Systems and Scaling Consultant

  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans for scalability.

  • Implement advanced business systems and technologies to streamline operations and increase productivity.

  • Optimize business processes through detailed workflow analysis and effective change management.

  • Lead and manage projects related to system upgrades and scaling initiatives, ensuring successful execution within deadlines.

  • Train and support staff on new systems and processes, fostering smooth transitions and high adoption rates.

About Me

I’ve worked for small businesses for 25 years in a variety of roles, including Veterinary Surgeon, Operations Manager and Bookkeeper. I have an eye for detail, love creating order from chaos and am flexible and friendly.

Hourly rates available with no tie-ins or additional fees.
